CAMPAIGN
Take a moment to go through this journey to understand and learn more on the purpose of Eating Healthy Campaign with Admiralty Primary School
1
This Healthy Eating Campaign has been brought forth as it aims to raise awareness and collaboration among parents and guardian about the importance of maintaining a healthy diet. With both childhood obesity and undernutrition on the rise, it is crucial for parents to understand the impact of food choices on their children's health. Besides food choices, we will also be mentioning about other aspects in their life which can have an impact on children's health.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Through this campaign, we hope to partner parents and guardian on how to have healthier habits such as - food choices, physical activities, stress management - and to encourage them to improve some habits together as one.
2
Why is this campaign important?
Eating healthy is essential for children's growth and development in which a balanced diet provides the necessary nutrients for the body - to function properly, strengthens the immune system, & improves cognitive function.
Furthermore, developing healthy eating habits early in life can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as heart diseases, diabetes & cancer later in life.
Thus, by promoting healthy habits from young, good practices which can be cultivated from primary school, we can set children on a path towards a lifetime of good health.
